I am a social designer, design researcher and project developer. I see culture, design, and creativity as a means to bridge societal gaps. Design research is for me a method to analyse systems or questions from different angles and offer new perspectives on matters in question.
I work on different social design questions and conduct design research for clients or self initiated. Large part of my current practice is collaborating with Dutch Design Foundation as the creative leader of the Embassy of Inclusive Society.
I have the priviledge to work as the creative leader of the Embassy
Together with Pim van der Mijl, I co-founded De Voorkamer in Utrecht in 2016, an inclusive meeting place in the heart of the multicultural neighbourhood in Utrecht, Lombok.
